Raw data (.hrp) are checked when initially copied from the drives to determine the total recording duration and assess errors in recording. Raw data are converted to .wav files that are checked during analyses of datasets.

Data are currently archived at the Pacific Islands Fisheries Science Center (PIFSC) and Scripps Institution of Oceanography (SIO)

Data are backed up to multiple hard drives and stored in secure locations at PIFSC and SIO.

The TDR data is offloaded as a csv file that is then converted into an excel spreadsheet. The spreadsheet contains the date/time (shown in gmt format) and the pressure in decibars which is then converted to depth in meters. There is also a wet/dry change parameter and light level measurement.
