Foreign Trade System (FTS)

This system is part of the Commercial Fisheries Data System.

Provide monthly data on foreign trade in fishery products. The Division provides authoritative advice, coordination and guidance on matters related to the collection, analysis and dissemination of biological, economic, market and sociological statistics by NMFS and state agencies. Administer surveys used to estimate recreational landings.

This metadata record is intended to provide current, summary information on the Foreign Trade System (FTS). As the system continues to evolve, each production release of FTS will have a child metadata record within this parent record (see "Child Items" below). This metadata record will be updated over time to reflect any major changes to the system. Minor changes and release specific information will be documented in the children, release specific metadata records.
