Abstract

The NGS Survey Control Map provides a map of the US which allows you to find and display geodetic survey control points stored in the database of the National Geodetic Survey and access the geodetic control data sheets associated with the points. Data sheets are in ASCII format and show precise latitude and longitude, orthometric heights, and gravity data for individual survey control points.

The NGS Survey Control Map provides a map of the US which allows you to find and display geodetic survey control points stored in the database of the National Geodetic Survey and access the geodetic control data sheets associated with the points. The NGS Survey Control Map provides detailed information on the NGS survey control points located throughout the nation.

The map includes a GoTo button for zooming to: PID, LAT/LON, COUNT, CITY, USGS QUAD, CORS SITE, FBN MARK, and AIRPORT. The retrievable data consists of NGS viewable Datasheets or SDTS.
