Inseason Fisheries Management in Alaska
The Inseason Management Branch of Sustainable Fisheries monitors the catch rates of groundfish and prohibited species according to the annual catch limits and allocations by gear, sector, and seasonal apportionments, and also opens and closes fisheries.
