Amelia Flannery
Amelia is a NOAA Affiliate with the Greater Atlantic Region Habitat and Ecosystem Services Division. Amelia is responsible for assisting with Essential Fish Habitat (EFH) and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) review for offshore wind projects. Prior to joining the Division, Amelia worked as an environmental consultant for large-scale energy projects providing biological and hydrological impact assessments and permitting services. Amelia is a graduate from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Sciences, and a Master of Oceanography graduate from the University of Rhode Island. Her master’s research focused on the environmental impacts of offshore wind.
