Amy C Johnson
Amy earned a BA in Biology from Wesleyan University and a Master’s in Public Health from Yale University. She is a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), with expertise in evaluating workplace physical, chemical, and biological hazards, using personal air monitoring, surface wipes and skin patches, and dosimetry to measure respiratory, dermal, and noise hazards. She has worked for over 20 years in the environmental and occupational health and safety fields, interpreting and enforcing regulations at a local air pollution agency, on environmental remediation projects, and as a compliance officer at OSHA. She has also worked as a consultant, evaluating exposures and recommending hazard abatement measures to communities and employers.
