Chris Kelble, Ph.D.

Chris Kelble is the Director of the Marine Ecosystems Division in NOAA Fisheries Office of Science and Technology. Chris received a BS, MS, and PhD from the University of Miami and worked in OAR for the past 25-years at the Atlantic Oceanographic and Meteorological Laboratory. Chris is working with the marine ecosystems division to advance the implementation and science supporting ecosystem based fisheries management, including climate ready fisheries. This effort builds on the various expertise in the marine ecosystems division as well as in our science centers to improve our management of NOAA Fisheries trust resources and marine ecosystems.
