Gabriella DiPreta

Gabriella DiPreta joined the Habitat and Ecosystem Services Division in 2023 as a Marine Habitat Resource Specialist. Gabriella is responsible for conducting environmental reviews pertaining to offshore wind energy activities for the region. Prior to joining NOAA Fisheries, she worked as a marine ecological consultant preparing NEPA documents and Construction and Operation Plans for offshore wind energy development. Gabriella has also served as an ORISE research fellow with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency where she assisted with the National Coastal Condition Assessment Survey. As an avid scuba diver, Gabriella has several years of research experience examining subtidal temperate reefs in southern New England estuaries. Throughout her research she has earned both a Master’s of Science and Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology from Southern Connecticut State University.
