Gilbert Mendoza
Contracting Officer
Gilbert has worked in the Operations and Management Division since 2008. Gilbert is FAC-C Level 1 certified and is a Warranted Contracting Officer with nearly 20 years of experience in contracting, starting as an Office Clerk in procurement with the Forest Service. Gilbert is responsible for issuing awards for services and supplies and serves as a liaison for actions awarded by NOAA Acquisition and Grants Office contracting staff. He works closely with our government purchase cardholders to ensure routine supplies and services are purchased timely and follow procurement regulations.
