Matthew joined the Milford Lab in September 2020 to bring engineering expertise to advance shellfish aquaculture gear and practices. His research is centered on developing scalable ropeless aquaculture technologies and methods that reduce entanglement risk with protected species. His work is also focused on the implementation of offshore shellfish aquaculture.
