Professional History
Paula provides scientific leadership to multi-disciplinary staff responsible for collecting and analyzing physical, chemical, and biological observations in support of ecosystem research and the management of living marine resources on the Northeast U.S. Shelf. She conducts research aimed at understanding and predicting the relationship between the ocean, climate, and ecosystem; understanding the interrelationship between ecosystem components and how these influence the distribution, abundance, and productivity of living marine resources; and developing tools and products for addressing climate, ecosystem, and habitat issues in fisheries stock assessments.
