Suzanne M. Russell
Background
Suzanne Russell has served in various capacities within NOAA since 1992. She joined the NWFSC in August of 1997. After receiving an M.A. in Marine Affairs at the University of Washington, she joined the Socioeconomic Program in April of 2004.
Current Research
Suzanne works on community issues in individual trawl quota (ITQ) systems, a study which will create a socioeconomic description of the U.S. whale watching industry in the Greater Puget Sound, and supports the ongoing fishing communities' research.
