Taiki graduated from Harvey Mudd College in 2010 with a degree in Mathematics. He has been a contractor with NOAA since 2016, first at the Southwest Fisheries Science Center and now with the Passive Acoustics Branch at the Northeast Fisheries Science Center. His work focuses on developing software tools to streamline and standardize passive acoustic data analysis.
