FIS-Supported Projects

Each year, the FIS Program Management Team leads a collaborative effort with the National Observer Program and the National Catch Shares Program to support projects that improve fisheries data collection and management. This database includes a brief description of supported projects and an explanation of how each works toward FIS' mission of providing stakeholders with easy access to accurate, high-quality, timely fisheries data, in order to support effective stewardship of marine resources.
