Recreational Fishing Survey and Data Standards Documentation Summary Report:

The Recreational Fishing Survey and Data Standards Documentation Summary Report monitors the progress of data collection programs toward meeting the documentation requirements of NOAA Fisheries’ Recreational Fishing Survey and Data Standards. These standards require comprehensive statistical documentation for all recreational fishing surveys that receive funding from the Marine Recreational Information Program. Survey administrators are required to update these documents when methods change and submit annual reports at the end of each survey year.

Document status is defined as follows:

In Progress: Documentation has been submitted, but has not yet been evaluated by NOAA Fisheries against the relevant Survey and Data Standards requirements.

Met: Documentation has been evaluated by NOAA Fisheries against the relevant Survey and Data Standards, and fulfills the requirements.

Not Met: Documentation has been evaluated by NOAA Fisheries but does not yet fulfill the relevant Survey and Data Standards requirements. It has been returned to the survey administrator for revision.
