A Free Science Day For All Ages in the Heart of an Ocean Science Village
Want to learn more about marine life of all sizes, from whales and fish species found in Northeast waters to plankton and the microscopic? Join us at the NOAA Fisheries Woods Hole lab for the Woods Hole Science Stroll. All the major marine science and educational institutions in the village will take part. Our fisheries exhibits and hands-on demonstrations will focus on the human side of fisheries, fish biology and aging, water chemistry, Atlantic salmon, and cooperative research programs with the commercial fishing industry, and much more. At our dock, tour a research vessel. Our Woods Hole Science Aquarium next to the main Fisheries lab at the end of Water Street features dozens of species of marine animals and is home to harbor seal Bubba.
There is limited off-street parking in Woods Hole. We encourage people to ride their bikes or take the WHOOSH Trolley to Woods Hole Village.
