Welcome Back Whales Day
Join us at the Maui Ocean Center, on January 21, 2023, to celebrate the return of humpback whales to the Hawaiian Islands.
About
Celebrate whale season in Hawai‘i with the Maui Ocean Center, the Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary, and NOAA Fisheries! This special event is open to the public and will have educational activities, keiki art projects and games, and ocean-themed videos. Keep a lookout for whales on the aquarium’s Māʻalaea Lookout Ramp!

The “Welcome Back Whales” activities are included with aquarium admission. All ages are welcome to participate.
