Cetacean Acoustician (Ocean Associates, Inc)

Selene Fregosi is a cetacean survey scientist with Ocean Asociates, Inc, contracted to the Pacific Islands Fisheries Science Center. Selene's research focus is all things bioacoustics, from detection and classification, responses of animals to noise, and describing new call types. In particular she is interested in using novel autonomous technologies to help us collect better passive acoustic data and answer important questions in ecology and conservation.
