Blair Mase-Guthrie
Blair Mase has served in the role of the NOAA Southeast Regional Marine Mammal Stranding Coordinator since 1992. In her role she is responsible for the coordination of marine mammal (dolphins, whales and seals) stranding events in the southeast U.S. including Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. She works closely with state partners as well as volunteer stranding network organizations to respond to marine mammal stranding events such as unusual mortality event investigations, mass strandings, large whale strandings and disentanglement efforts.
