Prohibited Species Donation permits authorize tax-exempt organizations to distribute salmon and/or halibut (delivered by catcher vessels using trawl gear to shoreside processors) to hunger relief agencies, food bank networks, or food bank distributors.

How to Apply
An applicant seeking to become an authorized distributor must provide the NOAA Fisheries Alaska Region's Regional Administrator with information requested at 50 CFR 679.26(b)(1).

What Happens After You Submit
After review of qualified applicants, the Regional Administrator will announce the selection of authorized distributor(s) in the Federal Register and will issue PSD permit(s).
